Dan Miller

I moved to State College when I was 7 (from Seattle).  My family became members of the pool shortly after we moved here and I joined the swim team shortly after that.  I spent the last ten or eleven years swimming competitively with SPRA, the YMCA, and the State College Area High School.  I started working as a guard and teaching swim lessons my freshman year in high school and have enjoyed it ever since.  This year will also be my first year as a coach on the SPRA summer swim team.  I will be returning to Penn State's Architecture program in the fall but first I am looking forward to a great summer with all you guys!

• experience with group and private lessons
• experience with competitive swimming
• swam at PIAA states and was captain of the high school swim team my senior year
• swam at YMCA districts and states a number of times
